Show Roosevelt J C C's Elect Officers A special meeting of the Roosevelt JCC's was held at the home of J. A. Burgess Monday, April 17th, to elect officers for the ensuing year. They are as follows: Bernard Larsen, president; presi-dent; Paul Murphy, vice president; presi-dent; Ned Gines, secretary; J. A. Burgess, treasurer; A. A. Rigby, state director; Elmer Eldredge, Cecil Jenkins the two year directors; di-rectors; Lyal Pitt, Gilbert Mc-Kenna Mc-Kenna and Bennie Schmiett, one year directors. The club is happy to announce that the dance held last Saturday Satur-day night at Victory Park was very successful. Soft Ball Diamond The JCC's wish to inform the public of the new SoLft Ball diamond that will be ready for I public use by Friday of this week. Any club or organization is invited to use the diamond at any time. It is located west of the city park. The club challenges challeng-es any team in the Basin to a game of soft ball any Thursday after 6 p. m. Chicken Dinner After the business of the club was over a very fine chicken dinner was served by Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Burgess. |
