Show New Clerk Takes Up Ashley Forest Office Duties Transfer of George F. Organ from ChaJlis, Idaho, to Vernal to a clerk's; position on the Ashley Ash-ley National Forest is announced by Ona A. Harrison, Forest Supervisor' Su-pervisor' The clerical position which Mr. Organ will occupy is an additional one to the regular staff of the Forest headquarters office, made necessary on account ac-count of increased timber business, busi-ness, and project work on the Forest. Mr. Organ entered Government Govern-ment service in 1941, working in the War Department at Denver, Colorado, and later transferring to Hill Field, Ogden", Utah. He entered the Armed Services in October, 1942, and left for the South Pacific theater in May, 1943, serving with the 2nd Aircraft Air-craft Assembly Squadron, returning re-turning from the Pacific in December, De-cember, 1945, Mr. Organ was discharged from the Army the 24th of that month. Mr. Organ returned to Government service at Hill Field and transferred into in-to the Forest Service in May, 1946, and - stationed at Challis, Idaho. He is,.a native of Colorado and received his education at Colorado Springs, Colorado. |
