Show Blue Cross Plan Benefits Extended Registrations for the Blue Cross hospitalization plan are still being accepted at the Roosevelt Roose-velt hospital, but must be completed com-pleted by October 15, according to J. Harold Eldredge,. chairman of the Blue Cross committee in this area. Fees this year have been increased in-creased to $15.00 per year for an unmarried person under 18 years of age, and to $36.00 for a family-group policy. To offset this increase, Mr. Eldredge states that benefits have been added as follows: Each member of a family will be allowed 21 days hospitalization hospitaliza-tion per year for each unrelated illness. Previously a subscriber was allowed a total of only 21 days hospitalization per person for all illnesses within the one-year one-year period. Also, whereas previously only $5 benefit was allowed for hospitalization hos-pitalization outside the region in which the Blue Cross policy was issued, the plan has now been extended to include the average per day cost applicable to the region, payable any place in the United States and Canada, i |
