Show j Bluebell Mrs. Garda Seeley Mr. and Mrs. John Thorsen were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wathen. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Mitchell and Mrs. Mary Mitchell, of Salt Lake City, visited with President Presi-dent and Mrs. Bernard Winkler during the week. Miss Beth Winkler accompanied them here She and Mrs, Mary Merrill have spent the past month touring Canada and visiting with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bird are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby girl, born September 17 at the Roosevelt hospital. Word comes from Tacoma Washington that Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brackcnbury are the happy hap-py parents of a baby girl. Paul S. Hanson, of St. George, j Utah, was transacting business here during the week. Beth Winkler taught school during the week as a substitute for Zola Stevenson, who was ill. LaVon Atwood made a business busi-ness trip to Salt Lake City dur-I ing the week. Mrs. Loretta Murray was taken tak-en to the L.D.S. hospital In Salt Lake City, Wednesday, in an ambulance. Lloyd Murray is staying in Altonah with his sister, sis-ter, LaWanna Timothy, while his mother is ill. Franklyn Smith visited last weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Goodrich and son Morris, accompanied him back to Salt Lake City. Ward M.I.A. officers went to Roosevelt Saturday night and Sunday to attend M.I.A. conference. |
