Show Ioka Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Archie Benson and Mrs. Henry Nelson visited at the homes of Mrs. Celia Jones and Mrs. Hugh Percival, Monday, in interest of the Primary. Olive Sorensen, Edith Gentry, Mattie Mortensen, Gladys Dart, Violet Gentry and Velma Dart attended the shower at Upalco, Saturday; for Mrs. Lloyd Nel son, a recent bride. John Haglund and Willis Lowry visited in Roosevelt, Saturday. Sat-urday. James B. Lemon was in Duchesne Du-chesne Wednesday on jury duty. Louella Christofferson was the luncheon guest of Louise Gentry, Saturday. In 'the afternoon after-noon they attended the matinee at Roosevelt. It is reported that Roy Anderson Ander-son broke his arm last week. Mrs. Chas. Percival visited at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Percival, Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Ellen Timothy and children chil-dren visited Thursday with her sister, Mrs. Arden Drollinger. Marcia Lemon was unable to attend school last week because of sickness. Mr. and Mrs, Allen Drollinger Drollin-ger attended a recital at Myton Sunday, given by Mrs. Orval Dart's music students. Most of the M.I.A. officers attended at-tended the M.I.A. convention held in Roosevelt Sunday. Mrs. MaDonna Lemon and children visited in Upalco, Sunday, Sun-day, with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger Drollin-ger went to Payson, Monday, accompanied ac-companied by William J. Ostler. Mr. Drollinger returned Tuesday with fruit, ; and Mrs. Drollinger came in Wednesday with a new car. Relatives of James Zobell met Saturday night to help him celebrate cele-brate his birthday anniversary. Refreshments, games and visiting visit-ing made up the evening's program. pro-gram. M-I.A. held its opening social Tuesday night in the ward hall. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines and son, Allen, and Mrs. Thelma Robison went by airplane to Provo, Wednesday. They were unable to return till Friday on J. Benson tended the children while, they were away. Mrs. J. A. Angus was pleasantly pleasant-ly surprised on her birthday, Wednesday night by 15 of her children and grandchildren. Edna Angus and her mother j visited Saturday in Roosevelt, with Mrs. P. C. Johnson. |
