Show Neighborhood News Mr. August Pearson left Tuesday afternoon for Mount Emmons where he will spend the remainder of the winter. Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Ericksen were visitors in Spanish Fork and Provo during the week. . Mrs. H. C. Beaumari and daughter, Thelma were Salt Lake visitors, this week. The Womens Progressive Club met at the heme of Mrs. Charles Oldham, Friday 15th. The president, Mrs. Whitaker. took charge of the program. Mrs. w. W. Brandon read "The Girls' Problems;" reading, Mrs. Will Hafen. Ten members were present. Refreshments Refresh-ments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Seely visited Salt Lake and Ogden friends and relatives rela-tives last week. Bishop and Mrs. Layfayette Frand-sen Frand-sen and children of Clarion were guests Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Frandsen. Miss Mary Bjelke entertained the W. W. W. club at her home Thursday evening. Refreshments were served and a social evening enjoyed. Special Spec-ial guests were the Misses Iris Rasmussen, Ras-mussen, Wilma Bjelke and Donna Eatinger. The annual Junior Promenade of North Sanpete High School, which was held last Friday and Saturday in the Amory Hall was a success in every way, and the outstanding social event cf the school year. The decorations, a Japanese garden scene, were appropriate appro-priate and added much to the spirit of the occasion. The committees in charge of the promenade are to be complimented for their work. |
