Show Lions Club Holds Their Regular Meeting- The Lions club met Wednesday evening eve-ning at the home of Mrs. An then Madsen. Dr. McKeene of the State Board of Health was a special guest and spoke briefly. Attorney L. R. Christensen paid tribute, in a spltndid address, to Lincoln and Washington. H. G. Ericksen, recently appointed second vice-commander of Sons and Daughters of the Pioneers and Black Hawk War Veterans of Utah at Spanish Span-ish Fork, reported the proceedings of the State Committee, and the item of greatest importance, the Black Hawk encampment to be staged here, this summer. Superintendent A. E. Jones rendered render-ed two vocal selections with Miss Helen Madsen as accompanist. |
