Show Local Wool Pool Is Formed at Mt. Pleasant More than 50 woolgrowers and fanners fann-ers of this city met at the Mount Pleas ant city hall Monday evening to discuss dis-cuss the organization of a Mount Pleasant wool pool. Art Frandsen, vice president of the local farm bureau and chairman of the wool pool project, was in charge of the meeting, and the formation of a pool and its advantages were discussed dis-cussed by County Agent C. O. Stott of Manti, E. A. Madsen of Fairview and James Louis Nielsen of Fountain Green. Mr. Nielsen has for many years been president of the nationally known Jericho wool pool. A Mount Pleasant wool pool was organized with 25 members and its officers of-ficers and complete organization will 'je effected at an early date. A ,ales committee consisting of O. V. Peel, chairman; William Millar and George C. Sorensen was selected and this committee will represent the local lo-cal organization at the county wool-Srowers' wool-Srowers' convention in Ephraim on February 23rd. |
