In this hard-boiled matter-of-fact world of ours, it is very seldom one hears anything which truthfully smacks of romance, but then truth is stronger than fiction. Listen to .his: About the first of last July Miss Nora Nielson left Manti for a trip to Honolulu. In what her parents thought was a very playful mood she told them she was going to Honolulu to get married. To whom? She didn't know, she said, "but the fellow she was going to marry was in Honolulu. Alone and on money she had earned and saved she started start-ed on her journey. Now there resided in the city of Mt. Pleasant, a few years ago, a man by the name of Oscar Staff. He was drafted into the world war, where he saw service in some of the big battles. After the war he did considerable traveling, finally landing land-ing in Honolulu about the 1st of July. They met and cupid's darts flew thick and fast. It was a case of love at first sight. In two weeks No: a and Oscar were married, and we hope they will live happily ever aitcr. Present indications are certainly cer-tainly good. L'ditci's note: It is to be hoped tha t this article will not start a gen-e.al gen-e.al exodus of beautiful young girls to Honolulu. it is not likely there will bo an Oscar Staff waiting in jach case.
