Show FOUNTAIN GREEN j I By Special Correspondence 1 Everett Draper who has been suffering with spotted fever for the past ten days is slowly recovering He is at the home of his mother. Mrs. Ed. Draper. Raymond Anderson had the misfortune mis-fortune to get his foot crushed while working at Standardville. consequently he is home for a few days, but expects to be able to return re-turn to his work this week. Kate Anderson of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Goldie Goodman of Port-laud, Port-laud, Oregon visited with Mrs. Lyda Guymon this weekend. . May Day was celebrated in a very fitting manner on May IGth, under the direction of th3 local Primary Association. , The queen cf May was Miss Chhar lotto Bar-entson Bar-entson with Elisabeth Christensen and Valera Coombs as her attendants. at-tendants. The flower girls were Alice Johnson, and Ruth Allved and EUwin Mikkelsen was Jack ir green. Those participating were chosen from their credits for attendance at Primary during the past year. A very exceUent program was rendered ren-dered in ward chapel at 10 a. m. and a children's dance was neld in the afternoon where the children did the May Pole dance in a very commendable way. There was an unusually large attendance of both parents and children. a dance in the evening brought the May Day celebration to a close. The Fountain Green Symphonizers furnished fur-nished the music for dancing. Mrs. Fern Francom and children of Levan are visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Carter. Car-ter. Thhe opening dance of the season sea-son at "Greenona," open air dance on May 20th was well attended and an enjoyablee vening was spent by aU present. Mrs. Melissa Samuels received word Tuesday morning from Provo hospital that her son Gerber had oeeii shot through the leg and had ban taken there for medlcpl at-jsntion. at-jsntion. 1 She left immediately for Provo. At the time of this writ-ting writ-ting no particulars have been learned as to how the misfortune happened. He was at the sheep herd at the time of the accident. Miss Victoria Jackson is conducting conduc-ting a kindergarten class in our community. Parents with children, should enroU them as they cannot afford to not take advantage of the excellent opportunity to receive training there. Mr. A. A. Borgeson, high school music instructor, received word Sunday of the "death of his mother at Santaquin. Funeral services were held there on Wednesday, May 21st. Mrs. O. L. Seely is spending the week at Mount Pleasant with her mother, Mrs. W. E. Watson. Mr and Mrs. Floyd Sperry spent a few days here this week visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hansen. |
