Show Dnrant Man Chosen For Director of Commerce Chamber F. J. Haynes, president of Durant Motors, Inc., has been re-elected to the directorate of the Chamber of Commerce of the United States, according to word received here this morning by Ronald Brandon, local Durant dealer, from Norman De Vaux, president and general manager mana-ger of the western Durant factory. "Haynes has been an outstanding figure in the automobile industry for many years," said Ronald Brandon, Bran-don, in commenting on the newt from President De Vaux. "As, president and general manager of Dodge Brothers and later as chairman chair-man of the board, he was in actual control of that company during the period when it achieved its place at the pinnacle of the Industry. "In the pioncor days of the motor car Haynes was general managei of the National Cycle and Automobile Automo-bile Company of Hamilton, Ontario Later he was factory manager of the Franklin. Company ln Syracuse, N. Y." Besides his affiliation with the U. S. Chamber of Commerce, Haynes also is a director of the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce, and chairman of its patents committee. |
