Show CLUB LEADERS TO BE FETED Six 4-H club leaders in Utah will be awarded gold medals at the annual Farm Bureau convention conven-tion to be held in the Newhouse Hotel, Salt Lake City, November 29, Miss Fern Shipley, assistant state boys and girls club leader announces. Ward C. Holbrook, president of the Farm Bureau, will present the awards to three women for their outstanding records as club lead-em. lead-em. These awards have been presented pre-sented for several years to club leaders who have been chosen for the quality of their leadership and the number of years they have been in service, From each county in Utah four leaders, two men and two women, are chosen to enter the state contest con-test for the Farm Bureau awards. From the state group of 4-H leaders a state central committee selects the leaders to be honored. Last year Helen B. Perry of Weber county; Edna Christensen of Box Elder county; Rhea D. Pugh of Kane county; Gladys Cliff of Wasatch county; Vovie Bagley of Piute county and Robert Ro-bert Penman of Weber county won the leadership awards. They had an average service of six years each. |
