PAUL ANDERSON Paul Andersons Honeymoon in North After Marriaqe, Reception in California A.ft.jr an extended honeymoon along the Pacific Const, with stops at Laguna Bca.nh, S'an Francisco, the Redwood forest and other points of interest, Mr. and Mrs. J. Paul Anderson are at homo in Portland, Oregon, where Mr. Anderson will attend the University of Oregon Dental School and his bride will complete com-plete her fourth year of college at Portland State College. The new Mrs. Anderson nee Mary Linda Hudson is n daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas J. Hudson of Elsinora, California, while her benedict is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Grant Y. Anderson Ander-son of Pleasant Grove. The very popular young couple were married Sept. 12 in the Las Angeles LDS Temple, with temple prsident Benjamin H. Browning officiating. Immediately prior to the temple service, a marriage ceremony was held in the California Cali-fornia mission headquarters home on the temple grounds. Here Dr. Wayne B. Hales of Provo, an uncle of the bridegroom officiated. officiat-ed. Only relatives and close friends were in attendance. Following the temple marriage Dr. and Mrs. Grant Y. Anderson gave a wedding breakfast for the bridal party at the Frenchette Room in the Ambassador" Hotel in Los Angeles. Here the bride was toasted in a short address by Mrs. Wayne B. Hales and the groom was toasted by his cousin, Dr. Richard B. Hales. In the evening of the same day the very popular young couple were honored at a reception in the Woman's Club House at El-sinore, El-sinore, Calif., with more than 250 in attendance. Mid dainty decorations decor-ations of yellow and white, the young couple and their party received re-ceived relatives and friends. The bride was loveJy in a Ca-hill Ca-hill model of ivory taffeta, round neckline, fitted bodice and full skirt with flat hand embroidered formed panels on the skirt and outlining the neckline. A tiny taffeta bow outlined with pearls released the sheer bridal veil of silk illusion. Her only ornament was a strand of matched pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. She can-ied three large white gardenias, nestled in yellow rosebuds. rose-buds. Her maid of honor, Miss Vici Morse of Los Angeles, was her sole attendant and donned yellow lace over taffeta and carried Talisman roses. Best man was Dr. Grant W, Anderson of Boron, Calif., the grooms brother. One outstanding feature of the evening was the soft background music played by Ruth Tanner, who also accompanied Mel Miller, who sang a number of love songs and closed the evening by singing "The Lords Prayer." At the refreshment table the bridegroom's sister, Jean Soren-sn Soren-sn of New York poured, while another sister, Mrs. Patricia Wil-kins Wil-kins of Salt Lake City presided over the gift display. |
