Show Muriel Ann Gilbert Weds Ben Garcia On October 1: Reception Follows Beautiful in its simplicity was the w;dding and reception that united Muriel Ann Gilbert and Ben Garcia on Oct. 1. Th3 impressive double ring ceremony took place in the First-Fifth First-Fifth Ward recreation Hall. Bishop Bish-op Lewis Harmer of the First Ward officiated. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Gilbert and the bridegroom's parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Jose A. Garcia. Only near relatives and very clos: friends were present. At 8 p.m. the bride and groom and their party received relatives and friends before a bridal arch of colorful chrysanthemums and otht.r autumn eoloi-s, while baskets bas-kets of flowers decorated the room, wh.'re background music was fumU-hs-J by Ha! The bride was charmingly lovely love-ly in a chapel train gown of taffeta and silk organza with overskirt of char.tilly lace, bustle style enhanced with sequins and s;ed pearls. Her fingertip veil of sheer illusion fell from a dainty crown of seed pearls. She carried a bridal bouquet of cymbadium orchids and stephonitis. Her attendants donned sheath style gowns of brown and green and carried orchids and chrysanthemums. chrysan-themums. The bride's mother was attractively attrac-tively gowned in a forest green velveteen sheath, while th e bridegroom's bride-groom's mother chose royal blue jersey. Both pinned on corsages of talisman roses. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Harold Bullock and Mr. and Mrs. Leon Gilbert. Alton Hone and Casey Garcia ushered and Delores Garcia handled hand-led the guest book. Mrs. Kenneth McClure presided presid-ed over the gift display assisted by Vera Goates, Deanna Brim-hall, Brim-hall, Judy Orton and Gayle Pace. Marvin and Gary Gilbert were gift bearers. Assuming hostess duties at the refreshment department was Linda Lin-da Harmer. She was assisted by Geniel Hone, Mildred (Nuttall, LaRae- Halliday, Regula Ringger and Marilyn Sutch, who served. The morning af ter 'the reception recep-tion the newlyweds and their parents enjoyed breakfast at the Pancake House in Salt Lake City. Mr..
