Show SCHOOL NEWS ELEMENTARY Beginning: April 4, parents of the children of Central School are having the opportunity afforded of eating lunch with their boys and girls .The program began Wednesday Wed-nesday with the Second Grade Room of Miss Jennie Gleason; and will continue throughout eacli room of the school. The purpose of the program, according ac-cording to Principal Calvin Walker, Walk-er, is to allow the school patrons an opportunity to observe and evaluate the school lunch program. pro-gram. ESN Lynn Bearnson, popular teacher at Central School is still absent from school because of illness. If he continues to improve, the students stu-dents should be able to welcome him back by the first of next week. ESN Two special programs are on the entertainment agenda at Grove-crest Grove-crest School this week. On Thursday Thurs-day April 5 at 7:00 p.m. students of LeRene Briggs' and Clara Hick-en's Hick-en's First grade will entertain their parents with a variety program pro-gram titled "First Grade Fun." Friday April 6 is the date chosen chos-en for the Fourth Grade dramatic pageant "You Were There." The time set is 6:30 p.m. Iowa Hall and Herbert Gilbert are directing the students in the presentation. ESN Another BYU Senior has been assigned as a Trainee at Grove-crest Grove-crest School. She is Miss Jean Olsen of Wanatchee, Washington. She will work in the kindergarten, under the direction of Mrs. LaRee S. Radmall. |
