Show Elysium Club Gets New Ideas on Sewing at Meeting New ideas in sewing and use of the new sewing machines, in fancy stitching and embroidering were demonstrated to the Elysium Club members on Wednesday evening even-ing by Mrs. Howe of Orem. The meeting was at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Green. Mrs. Pearl Gour-ley Gour-ley presented business matters, and the club made plans for their Apron Sale to be held later this month. Program Chairman, Marie Harper Har-per introduced Mrs. Howe, who gave the young matrons valuable ideas on home sewing, and materials, mater-ials, as a money saver. Enjoying the evening were Jackie Brady, JoAnn Brady, Joyce Crump, Janice Gillman, JoAnn Gourley, Pearl Gourley, Karyl Hal-laday, Hal-laday, Marie Harper, Shirley Hatch, Evalyn Hilton, Ruth Shoell, Geniel Waid, Alta May Wood, Andrea Alger, Bliss Brimley and Mrs. Green. A tasty tray lunch was served by the hostess. |
