Show Funeral Rites for Emily Aston Held Last Saturday Mrs. Emily Keetch Aston, 88, died in American Fork Hospital last Wednesday night of influenza. Eorn Oct. 4. 1867 in Grantsville, she was the daugtiter of Alfred G. and Emily Ann Harris Keetch. She had lived most of her life in Lin-don. Lin-don. She was an active member of the LDS Church, having served as secretary-treasurer of the Relief Re-lief Society for 17 years; for 30 years she visited homes 100 per cent as a visiting teacher. She married Edwin Aston Dec. 2, 1885 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died July 12, 1906. She married her fust husband's brother, Alfred Aston, Sept. 15, 1910. He died Jan. 7, 1933. Surviving are three of her eight children, Mrs. J. J. Madsen, Vineyard; Vine-yard; Zelmor Aston, Lindon; Mrs. Frank Williams, Orem, 19 grandchildren; grand-children; 56 great-grandchildren; and nine .srreat-rreat-grandchild-ren. A brother, Stanley Keetch, and three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Me-cham, Me-cham, American Fork; Mrs. A. L. Cullimore, Provo, and Mrs. D. B. Thorne, Lindon. Funeral services were held last Saturday in the Windsor Ward Chapel. |
