Show Reception Honors Newlyweds On Monday Evening Friendly hospitality and informality infor-mality marked the openhouse reception, re-ception, honoring Bill and Burdene Walker Shores in the Lindon ward recreation hall on Monday evening, even-ing, Feb. 16. The bride's sister, Mrs. Joseph Hanson of American Fork was her only attendant, while Ray Walker, Walk-er, the bride's brother, stood as best man, with the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard S. Walker completing the reception line. The bride and her attendant were attractively but informally gowned. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Oscarson cordially greeted guests at the door and Mrs. Ray Walker attended attend-ed to registration of guests. Refreshments were under direction dir-ection of Mrs. Joseph Hilton, Mrs. Douglas Nielson, Mrs. Moyle Blackham, Mrs. Nile Harris. They were assisted in serving by Cheryl Oscarson and Royce Walker. Arranging the gift display were Mrs. Hensen Walker, Mrs. Reed H. Walker and Mrs. Piatt Tucker. Young folks who received gifts at the door were Suzanne Walker, Patricia Tucker, Deanna Hanson, Jay Walker, Judy Walker, Annette Walker. Mr. Shores left Monday for the east coast where he will embark for overseas military duty. His bride has resumed her work at Dugway Proving Grounds. I |
