Show Newlyweds Honored At Openhouse After Temple Marriage Wednesday The Ernest C. Morgan home on Saturday evening was the scene of one of the fine social events of the late winter, when the Morgans entertained at an open house, honoring hon-oring their daughter Mary Lou and George Junior Zinie, who were married in the Salt Lake L. D S. temple on Feb. 11. In the receiving receiv-ing line were the bride and groom, Mr. and Mrs. Morgan, the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George J. Zinie of Vale, Oregon. Maid of honor was Miss Lael Steele, a cousin and brides maids, Misses Ida Mae Lindstrom, Beth Ann Zinie, Patricia Morgan and Junior Jun-ior brides maid Rowena Morgan. Best man was Edwin Jones, mis-: mis-: sionary campanion of the groom. Ushers were James Morgan and David West. Mrs. Jeanell Chestnut Chest-nut registered the guests. For her wedding the bride was beautifully gowned in white satin with over skirt of net and lace, fitted lace bodice and long lace sleeves. Her veil of brides illusion was held with a tiara of waxed orange blossoms. She held a bouquet of pink carnations and narcissus tied with satin streamers. Miss Steele wore green with gold overskirt and the bridesmaids were attired in similar yellow for-mals, for-mals, and carried matching bouquets. bou-quets. The lovely white wedding cake that centered the table in the serving ser-ving room, formed two hearts joined and adorned with red roses. Refreshments were directed by Mrs. Ford West, Mrs. Gerald Bel-liston, Bel-liston, Mrs. Keith Miller, and Mrs. Jack Emerson. Young ladies who served were Deanna Wadley, Beverly Bev-erly Farr, Pauline Ash, Karen Belliston and Carol Pulley. Arranging the gift display were Mrs. Lawrence Farr, Mrs. George Barton, and Mrs. E. R. Allen. Gift bearers were Pauline Farr, Margaret Mar-garet Miller and Mark Emerson. Accompanying the young couple to the temple and witnessing the ceremony performed by Temple President Robert Young were the bride's mother, the groom uncle, Max Ritcer of Ogden, Mrs. Geo. Barton, and Mrs. Gerald Belliston. After the marriage the party enjoyed a wedding breakfast at the Doll House. The newlyweds left Monday for Vale, Oregon. i |
