Show School Set For Wednesday for Beet Growers The annual, sugar beet school sponsored by the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company, Utah County Extension Service and the Utah County Sugar Beet Growers Association As-sociation is scheduled for Wednesday, Wednes-day, February 25, 1953 in the Palmyra Stake House located on the corner of Main and First South Streets in Spanish Fork, Utah. The school will begin at 9:30 a. m. and continue on through the day until 3:30 p.m. A good hot lunch will be served at noon to everyone attending the school. The lunch is free to all. A splendid program is outlined for both the morning and the afternoon sessions covering Irrigation Irri-gation and Fertilization along with Livestock Feeding using Sugar Beet By-Products and other farm feeds under present Utah County Farm conditions. Crop rotation, Spring Mechanization, Mechanical Thinning and General Farm practices will be on the a-genda. a-genda. Representatives from the Utah State Agriculture College and Utah-Idaho Sugar Company will be at the school to present the subject material. If you are interested in the maintenance and continuation of the Sugar Beet Indstry in your respective communities, plan to attend this vital school and lend your support. |
