Show Dr. P. M. Kelly Made Mission Headi i The many friends of Dr. P. M. Kelly of St. Anthony, Idaho, former American Fork resident, will rejoice with him in the honor which the L. D. S. church has bestowed upon him in his appointment as president of the L. D. S. Swiss-German mission. mis-sion. The headquarters of this mission mis-sion are at Basil, Switzerland. Dr. Kelly will succeed Francs Salzner of Salt Lake City, who has been president presi-dent since September, 1931. Dr. Kelly filled a mission to Germany Ger-many during the period of October, 1900, to July, 1903, and his knowledge know-ledge of the language and customs has given him excellent preparation for his new duties. He was born in American Fork and since his early youth has taken an active part in church affairs. At i the present time he is a member of the Yellowstone stake high council. Dr. and Mrs. Kelly will leave in the near future for Europe where 'they will join a son, Ralph, now a ; missionary in the Swiss-German ' mission, and who will remain after his release this spring to continue with professional studies. Their daughter, connie, now attending the B. Y. U. will accompany her parents to Europe. According to word receiv-: receiv-: ed by relatives here.
