Show Gold and Green Ball Details Complete The Gold and Green Ball, annual an-nual M. I- A. leading social event, promises to be a colorful and brilliant bril-liant affair. The ball is to be held in the Apollo Hall next Thursday night, February 21st under the joint sponsorship of the stake and four L- D. S- ward Mutual Improvement Association organizations-Departing organizations-Departing from the custom of previous years, the ball will be a colonial affair. The hall will be entirely re-decorated, all of the former decorations are to be removed re-moved and the color scheme changed The ceiling will be patterned by five large diamonds filled with wisteria wis-teria blossoms in lovely shades of purple and lavender, American beau-i beau-i ty rose and pink, set off by a back-! back-! ground of two shades of blue- The j decorative light shades will be fringed in harmonizing colors. The orchestra stand and north end al coves will be converted into Colonial Colon-ial arbors and the queens' stand will be decorated accordingly. The four lovely young ladies selected se-lected by their ward organizations to grace the ball as queens, Misses Mabel Huggard, Christine Ramsay, Grace Parker and Lois Parduhn, will be attired in beautiful colonial costumes of velvet in contrasting pastel shades- Each will be escorted es-corted by a young man of her ward also in attire reminiscent of the days of George Washington- A little page will lead' the queen's procession, pro-cession, which will enter the hall at 10 o'clock. In order to eliminate the crowding crowd-ing to the center of the floor by the dance patrons, an area will be roped off by about forty M- I. A. girls holding; a flowered rope and in this way all will be enabled to see the official march of the royal party- The queens and their escorts will dance the stately minuet before taking their places on the stand, and then before them will come the M. I. A- members of the wards who will give special dances- The Apollo orchestra will furnish the music for the ball.
