Show Mrs." Alice Smith of Salt Lake is visiting her sisters, Mrs. Olive Bin-nal Bin-nal and Mrs. Florence Jensen here this week. Mr- and Mrs. Wayne Robinson of Highland are the happy parents of a baby son, bom Tuesday, the 5th- Miss Afton Bertin has returned home from the Lehi hospital where she recently underwent an operation opera-tion for appendicitis. The Ladies Auxiliary to the Wool-growers Wool-growers Association met Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mrs- L. B. Adamson. A report of the recent re-cent state convention was given and other business was disposed of. Mrs-Adamson Mrs-Adamson served light refreshments. The next meeting will be held the second Wednesday in March, the 13th, at the home of Mrs- Carl Anderson. An-derson. Monday night in the Fourth ward chapel the Alpine players presented "The Circus," a play, on the budget bud-get program of the stake- The house was filled almost beyond capacity ca-pacity and many fine comments were heard on the success of the Wilson Cunningham entertained enter-tained the Variety Club Thursday afternoon of last week. Two tables of bridge were played, Mrs- Ray Shelley and Mrs- Rulon Nicholes winning the prizes. A tasty lunch was served at the small tables, decorated dec-orated with Valentine favors and table accessories. Mrs. S. Gam Carter was a special guest- The members of the Y. W- M-I. M-I. A. held a stake board meeting and social Tuesday night at the home of Mrs- Alodia Roberts, a member of the board who has been confined to her home with illness. After the business had been disposed dis-posed of, social chat was indulged in- Mrs. Roberts served dainty refreshments. re-freshments. During the evening the ladies presented their hostess with a lovely primrose plant- There were ten present. |
