Show Old Folks of City ToBe Feted Next Wednesday, January nth will be "Old Folks" day in American Fork -and the day's entertainment is fully planned by the committees in charge. Besides the "old folks," an invitation has been extended to all widows and widowers, the members of the stake presidency, stake clerk and bishoprics of the four wards the chairmen of the Lehi, Pleasant Grove, Alpine and Highland Old Folks committees and their wives to attend. A jolly good time is in store for the guests of the day according to the day's program, and the general chairmen of the committee Roy Greenwood and- Mrs. Lizzie Earl, with their committees are doing I everything in their power to make I the day one of the keenest pleasure to all. The guests will assemble in the tabernacle from 11 to 12 a. m. and when the call for dinner is sounded will go to the amusement hall where the cooks and waitresses will have ready for them one of those real "Old Folks" banquets. Music will be played during the dinner hour. I At 2 p. m. in the auditorium will jbe given a program to which the general public is invited to attend, and following the program, the guests will return to the amusement hall for an hour or so of dancing in which old time dances will be i featured, and some program numbers. num-bers. Mrs. Earl, general chairman of the committee to prepare the dinner, says the menu will be as follows: Chicken and Gravy Roast Ham Potatoes Parsnips Carrots Celery Cheese Rolls Butter Plumb Pudding Mince Pie Oranges Candy The afternoon's program has been arranged by a committee comprised of Mrs. Hannah Aydelotte, Mrs. Mabel Adamson, Mrs. Nell Julian and Mrs. Ivy Steele, and will include , the following numbers: Songs, "Tab and Bun" (Messrs. Clarence Grant land Ray Shelley). I Dancng stunts Helen Johnston, Merma Grant and Helen Ellison. ; Song Cecil Hansen and Maurine Spafford. j Picolo selection Mr.-. Evans and j Company. j Saw solo Walter Hansen, j Whistling solo Helen Adamson. Banjo duet Karl Bennett and Howard Nelson. I Cowboy songs Boyd Coddington land Jesse Greene. The day's entertainment will wind , up with a big dance in the Apollo iHall, which the public is asked to attend. The "Old Folks" will be guests at the dance, and all others !will be charged the regular admis-ision. admis-ision. The proceeds of the dance will be used to re-imburse the treasury of the "Old Folks" committee.
