Show o PLEASANT GROVE PLAYS GOOD BALL AT LEHI The high school basketball team rushed the Lehi quintet at Lehi last Friday evening in the feature opening open-ing game of the Alpine league. The game was nip and tuck all the way. Pleasant Grove lead by a score of 11 to 9 at the half of the game and in a hectic third period tha score stood 19 to 17 in favor of Lehi. The loss of Lauritz Peterson, guard, on personals weakened the P. G. team and Lehi captured the contest in the fourth period. Pleasant Grove controlled the tip-off throughout. The final score being 22 to 29 in favor of Lehi. The Future Farmers won from the Lehi Future Farmers in a preceding game. Coach H. S. Richards is not saying very much, but is working consistently with the team, with high hopes for a winning team. i |
