Show GENEALOGICAL COMMITTEE ENJOYS SOCIAL The Third Ward Genealogocial committee enjoyed a unique social Monday evening at the ward Amusement Amuse-ment Hall. The committee in charge of the affair were Mr. and 'Mrs. Clarence Hilton, Mr. and Mrs. WfUV iam Preston, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Walker, Mrs. Annie Burch and Mrs. F. C. Shoell. The entertaining features fea-tures started with an auction sale of clothing, corn being used for cash. After the bundles of clothing had been bought the purchasers were clothed in the materials purchased and a grand march followed. Claude Burch won the prize for the most unique costume. The evening was spent in dancing. A dainty tray luncheon was served to sixty members mem-bers and invited guests. o |
