Show Depot Street Opening Big Improvement The opening of Depot street west to the new state highway is going to prove a mighty fine improvement for Pleasant Grove when the traffic is routed over the new highway. Forward looking citizens are vision-ing vision-ing this new approach to the highway high-way as the most important connecting con-necting street the city will have with I the state road and, with the splendid splen-did wide, well graded street the city council has outlined, the approach to the highway will be a tempting invitation for the tourist and highway high-way driver to come on into the business busi-ness section of town, especially from the north. The fact that the cut commences near the intersection of Main street , on the south approach and the ! highway takes off so far away from the city on the west, drivers uaafa-milure uaafa-milure with the city street set up will likely stay with the highway on either approach. This makes the new Depot street quite an asset to our community and the city officials are to be commended for looking ahead and taking advantage of the fill dirt and state road equipment during the time the underpass is being constructed. |
