That is ex-actly what it was for Bill and Pauline Lewis on their 50th wedding anni-versary Aug. 26. The occasion was given at the Oak Crest Inn in Spanish Fork by their children, L. Edward and wife, Karen Robinson Lewis, from Leslie, Illinois, and LaReta Lewis Peter-son and husband, Mick, from Orem. What Bill and Pauline thought to be a small family dinner turned out to be a joyous affair with bal-loons, banners and all the decora-tions that go to make a party. A savory prime rib dinner with all the trimmings was served to all those in attendance including the couple's brothers and sisters, or a representative of those family members who are deceased. Edward gave a tribute to his parents and presented each of them with a double eagle gold coin. LaReta followed with a book she made of "This is Your Life," with pictures and letters from all members of their families.
