According to the police report, a car began following Officer Lloyd near Geneva Steel on Geneva Road The car followed him every where he went so he pulled over and let the car pass him. He then followed the car for some distance before turning on his emergency lights in an attempt to pull the car over. The driver of the car then sped away, beginning a chase which began at 600 N. State in Lindon and which ended at the Frontier Cafe at 600 S. Geneva Road in Lindon. Officer Lloyd was assisted by the Orem Police Department and other Pleasant Grove officers. A 25-year-old male was arrested for DUI in Lindon by Officer Randy Shepherd. Several juveniles and an adult were arrested following a fight at a party in Pleasant Grove. Wholesale Foods, 520 W. State, Pleasant Grove, reported the theft of 30 pallets valued at $300. Officer Jay Thornton said there is a suspect. An Associated Foods truck making mak-ing a delivery at Nortons Store apparently backed into a fence belonging to Roland Robinson. There was $400 damage to the fence. Officer Brett Lloyd investigated. |
