Fc L I M.H. and Sharon Patricia Up-per, Lindon, are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Jolene West, to Chad L. Forbes, son of Paul and Linda Forbes, Pleas-ant Grove, Friday, Sept. 8, at Fitzen Gardens in American Fork. Jolene is also the daughter of the late Everett F. West. A garden reception will follow the ceremony to honor the couple that same evening from 6 to 8 at Fitzen Gardens. Attending the bride will be her sister-in-la- Monique Forbes, her friends, Wendy Hackford, Apryl Allridge, Alex Carlson and flower girl, Summer Hackford. Best man will be Jim Allred, brother of the groom . Jason Forbes, Kim Forbes and Shane Forbes, uncles of the groom, will serve as groomsmen. The bride-elec- t graduated from Orem High School. She has attended Utah Valley Community College, working on her associates degree as a legal secretary. She is cur-rently employed as an order proc-essing agent in the Canadian Divi-sion at Soft Copy in Orem. Chad graduated from Pleasant Grove High School. He is currently employed at Geneva Steel. The couple will make their first home in Lindon. Bingham, son of Brent and Judy Bingham, in the Jordan River Temple on Aug. 31, 1989. A reception will be held Aug. 31 at Eileen Steven's home, 715 S. Loader Avenue, Pleasant Grove. An Open House will be the fol-lowing night at the Bingham's 619 S. Cherry Lane, Fruit Heights. The Maid of Honor is Linda Fralick and Matron of Honor is Laurie Peterson with Brides Maid Gir.a Snow. The Best Man is Neil Bingham with Calvin Ostler as a Grooms Man. Jeanine graduated from Pleas-ant Grove High School and L.D.S. Seminary. She attended UVCC and later served a mission in the South Africa Johannesburg mission where she met Tracy who also served in the South Africa mission. Tracy graduated from Davis High and L.D.S. Kirk-man, son of Elvin E. and Velene Kirkman, Pleasant Grove, has re-cently completed the Staff Non-commissioned Officer (SNCO) Leadership Course. During the course, Kirkman received instruction on personnel administration, Marine Corps his-tory and traditions, infantry tac tics and techniques of leadership. Stone, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Stone, Pleasant Grove, on Friday, Sept. 1 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Uden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wilferd Uden, Lindon, Aug. 31 in the Jordan River LDS Temple. Janet graduated from American Fork High School and is currently attending BYU as a junior major-ing in medical technology. Kirk also graduated from Ameri-can Fork High School and is en- - ': rolled at Utah Valley Community q College studying business and fi-- ; nance. He has served a mission in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. Kirk and Janet plan to make their first home in Provo. PTSA fundraiser Pleasant Grove High School's PTSA will be holding some fun-draisers this fall to raise money for school projects. The next fundraiser planned is family portraits which will be taken on Nov. 13. PTSA President Karen Dean said that even though this is some time away yet, she would like families to prepare for it and sched-ule it on their calendars. The pictures will be back in time for Christmas if you would like to use them for gifts. The cost will be very reasonable. More information on this will be upcoming. The PTSA is also selling school which are painted in neon colors and which say, "Inside this is one Terrific Viking." They would like all students and faculty members to have one and to wear them to all ball games and other similar activities. The public can purchase the shirts, also. The cost is $7.
