Pleasant Grove, Utah Valley View Elementary 941 Orchard Dr. Pleasant Grove, Utah PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election will be held in Alpine School District, Utah County, State of Utah, on Tuesday, the 23rd day of September, 1986, which special election there shall be submitted to the qualified, registered electors residing within Alpine School District, Utah Voting District Lindon 1,2, 3,4 PI. Grove 2, 3, 7, 9, 11, 13 PI. Grove 1, 12, 14 PI. Grove 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 The voting at the special election shall be by ballot, which shall be furnished by the Clerk of the Board of Education of the Alpine School District to the judges of the election, to be furnished by those judges to the qualified voters. The polls at each polling place shall be opened at the hour of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and will be kept open until they are closed at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. There is to be no special registration of voters for the special election and the official register of the voters last made or revised for voters eligible to vote in this election shall constitute the register for this speical election, except that the County Clerk of Utah County will register at his office during the regular office hours, except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, and excepting a ten (10) day period immediately preceding the special election, all persons who present themselves for registration who, on the special election day, will be legally qualified and entitled to vote in any election district in the Alpine School District, according to the provisions ofthe law under which such special election may be held. The County Clerk will make available or will cause the registration agents to make available at each of the above described polling places a registration list or copy thereof listing all registered electors entitled to use such polling place. Absentee ballots may be obtained by any person otherwise eligible to vote at the special election but who, on the day of election, expects to be temporarily absent from the Alpine School District area or disabled, by making application in the manner and time provided by law, either in person or by mail, at the office of the Clerk of the Board of Education of Alpine School District at 50 North Center Street, American Fork, Utah 84003. Notice is further given that on the 30th day of September, 1986, that being a day not later than ten (10) days after this special election, the Board of Education of Alpine School District will meet at its regular meeting place in American Fork, Utah County, Utah at 6:00 o'clock p.m. and canvass can-vass the returns and declare the official results of the special election.
