Show Former PI. Grove teacher authors creative book , The Fun Collection is a 132 page book of constructive projects and activities to teach, and entertain children. Its unique organization lets you find projects and activities according to what you want to do them "with (scissors, crayons, paper bags, yarn, etc.) Pick a medium -find 'a project. It is full of ideas for art projects, treats and even games. The author, Merlene Ellington, is a former Central Elementary" teacher and is the sister-in-law of Pat and Sharon Ellington of Pleasant Grove. She has a BS degree in Elementary Education With a specialty in Music Education. She has extensive teaching experience with all ages, "especially children, and has operated her own preschool. While teaching a Relief Society class to mothers on entertaining children, Merlene began to compile the best ideas she had accumulated throughout her teaching experience and it led to this book. ' The Fun Collection has chapters in hat making, paper bag art, paper plate art, scissor art, paper folding art, patterns for masks and more. You can look for ideas such as dryer lint modeling clay, homemade fudge made from a package of pudding, or painting with "magic" water which forms crystals when it .dries. ! It features: 1.
