Show PGHS counselors attend conference Two student counselors from Pleasant Grove High School attended at-tended a conference at the University of Utah last month, Mark Bezzant and Aleen Rowley. The conference, on Sept. 12, was an annual gathering of high school counselors and principals from Utah, Idaho, Wyoming and Nevada who received information about University policies and practices of interest to graduating seniors. Jay Comras of the National Association of Secondary School Principals spoke at the conference. He compared the Scholastic Aptitude Ap-titude Test (SAT) with the American College Test (ACT), both of which are used by colleges to select freshman applicants. The ACT is given to students in Utah. |
