The position of Mayor jnd two Council seats a,e open with incumbent in-cumbent Mayor David R. Holdaway running against W. Cornell Haynie, former mayor for the mayor position. Four residents have been nominated for the council positions, with neither incumbent councilman running. Keith E. Christesen Edward T. Sanderson, John Y. Swenson and Dale Warburton are vying for the council positions. Registered ' voters residing within the corporate limits of the city of Pleasant Grove are eligible to vote. The 14 voting districts have been combined into seven districts with all voting taking place in the Recreation Building Multi-purpose Center.
