It will be a fun and safe evening fro all who attend. Some fun things have been happening at Central School this past month. A very successful candy fund raiser was hpld and the children did a great job of helping the school to earn funds to help the school upgrade its facility, as well as add to the learning processes at the school. Thanks is given to Jamie Walker and all her helpers. The Bean Museum personnel have been to the school for a hands-o- n show of reptiles, insects, mammals and other exciting things. The school's PTA sponsors a cultural or learning assembly each month. This is coordinated by Kristen Howe. A puppet show was held in September. National School Lunch Week was made really exciting by super school lunch ladies who made homemade suckers, individual small loaves of bread, treasure cakes and fudge and cookies for the children. They are Margaret Kelley, Ruth Jackson, Aleda Coats, Karen Peterson and Linda Tingey. They dressed up some of the days and made the week exciting in the lunchroom. PTA ladies gave cer-tificates and stamps to children who ate all their lunches. Safety Week was held Oct. 14 through 18 and was a great success. This was under the direction of' Debbie West. Programs were held during the week. Monday was safety with electricity and Utah Power donated coloring calendar books. Tuesday was a day when the police department ' presented the McGruff program to the school. Wednesday was poison control day, Thursday the first department presented demonstrations and Friday was earthquake day.
