Thurston of Pleasant Grove, a 1977 graduate of Box Elder High School, has been appointed director of marketing communications for the Micro Systems Division (MSD) of DHI Computing Service in Provo. WU Crandall, vice president MSD, said Thurston will supervise the writing and publication of educational materials for users of the IBM PC XT370 computers being marketed through MSD and also prepare materials for use in trade shows throughout the nation. Thurston, a son of Irvin J. and Beatrice Thurston, graduated from BYU in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in business management and has been working as a customer service representative for Financial Processing Systems, an affiliate of DHI Computing Service in Provo.
