Holman are pleased to announce the for-thcoming marriage of their daughter, Marianne, to Patrick W. Croghan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Croghan, Cedar Bluffs, Neb. The couple will exchange vows in the Provo LDS Temple on June 23. An afternoon garden buffet for the wedding party will honor the newlyweds from 5 to 7 p.m. Any friend wishing to meet with the bride and groom are invited to attend an informal open house at the home of the bride's parents, 1111 W. 1800 North, Pleasant Grove, from 7 to 8 p.m. An open house will be held Sunday, July 15, in Cedar Bluffs, Neb. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and the LDS Seminary program. She has attended BYU for three years majoring in business management and office education. She was a member of the International Folk Dancers and has performed in Europe, Japan, Korea, Philippines and China. She is currently em-ployed at BYU in registration and is attending school part-tim- The prospective groom is a graduate of Cedar Bluffs High School. He is a graduate of Southeast Community College with an associate degree in building construction science. He has fulfilled an LDS mission in the California, Anaheim Mission. He is currently a senior at BYU majoring in English. Patrick W. She is majoring in business. Lonnie is a 1978 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School. He is currently attending Utah State University where he is majoring in electrical engineering. After their honeymoon the couple will live in Pleasant Grove where Lonnie is currently employed. They will return to Logan in the fall where they will continue their studies atU.S.U. Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Rumsey of Preston, Idaho, are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Nanette, to Lonnie N. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Weldon Adams of Pleasant Grove. They will be married Saturday, June 23, in the Logan LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.; a program from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Whitney Ward cultural hall, Whitney, Idaho. Main A.F.. 756-328- 1 Open house slated for Golden Wedding Anniversary of Eldon and Eulala Pack An open house will be held in honor of the Golden Wedding An-niversary of Eldon and Eulala Pack of Pleasant Grove on Saturday, June 23, in the Manila Stake Center, 1800 N. 100 W., Pleasant Grove, from 6 till 8 p.m. All friends and relatives are in-vited to attend. The couple were married on June 20, 1934 in Lehi. Eulala was born on Aug. 31, 1914, a daughter of Hyrum and Amy Devey Smith. She graduated from Lehi High School and LDS Seminary. She is a homemaker. Her hobbies include quilting, sewing, genealogy, hunting, fishing and traveling. She likes to help family members. She is a past president of the Manila Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and has worked in the Stake Primary and in the Sunday School. Eldon was born Jan. 24, 1913 at Deseret, Utah, the son of Clarence W. and Estell M. Pack. He attended the old Manila grade school and Pleasant Grove High School. He is a farmer at heart, but has worked at Mercur, Utah, mining, United Smelting and Refining and retired after 21 years at BYU as a Eulala and Eldon Pack groundsman over athletics. He enjoys farming, hunting, fishing, traveling and temple work. He has worked in the stake Sunday School, Elder's Quorum, been the High Priest group leader and served in the bishopric. Mr. and Mrs. Pack are the parents of eight children: Ervin, Glen, Mrs. Marcel (Edna) DeRoest of Pleasant Grove; Russell and Mrs. Ponie (Ann) Reese of Cen--. terville; Merlyn, Lehi; Mrs. Joseph (Nola) Call and Idaho Falls, Id.; and Mrs. Doyle (Linda) Judd of Arizona. They have 38 grandchildren and 18 Reception planned Saturday in honor of wedding of Sue Dart and Rick Mooney Sue Dart, daughter of Arlene Dart of Orem and the late Frank B. Dart, will marry Rick Mooney, son of Fred and Delia Mooney, Highland, on Saturday, June 23, in a ceremony performed by Henry W. Rock. A reception will honor the couple on that same evening from 7 until 9 p.m. with dancing from 9 until 11 p.m. in the Utah Valley Archery Center in Orem. The event is open to all friends and relatives. Bridal attendants will be Shari Combe, Suzanne Carter and Susan Mooney, with Paige Berhow serving as maid of honor and Danielle Rodier as flower girl. Best men will be Kim Stringham and Gary Whittle, with John Naranjo as ring bearer. The bride-elec- t graduated from Orem High School .and Utah Technical College in the field of human services. She is currently employed in American Fork. Her fiance graduated from American Fork High School. He is currently employed as a carpenter in Salt Lake City. Rick Mooney Sue Dart The couple will live in American Fork following their marriage. Lions Club to sponsor hearing clinic at Strawberry Days fete The Pleasant Grove Lions Club is sponsoring a free hearing clinic in the Pleasant Grove Community Center during Strawberry Days on June 21 from 11 a.m. til 6 p.m. There will be hearing tests available, as well as a hearing aid display. The hearing tests will be given by qualified people in this area. Also available will be a captioned TV used by deaf people, and a film on the first deaf Primary in the LDS Church. Parents will be given helps on how to determine if their child has a hearing problem. The clinic is designed to help people be aware of what is available to the deaf and speech impaired! Arts and crafts committee urges entries in Thursday show evening.
