Show -j Volunteers dedicated to service It takes dedication to serve as a volunteer at an organization for 22 years, but that's ' what Nona Bingham of Pleasant Grove has done, Mrs. Bingham served as the first president 6f. the Volunteer Auxiliary .". - then known as the Pink Ladies Auxiliary - at the American Fork Hospital when it was first organized - and still continues to donate her time each week to the patients and staff at the hospital. She was among those honored for years of service at the Volunteer Auxiliary awards banquet held at the Alpine Country Club on May 4. Close behind her in years of service are Margaret Faddis and Ruth Meranda, both of American Fork, wno have served for 21 years in the organization. Other with "long-time service" are Duretha Smith, 16 years; Laura Parduhn, Velda Smuin, Donna Chilton, and Betty McTague, 14 years; Monte Goodsell, Leona Larson, Grace Jensen, Electa Smith, Luana Smith, Emma Parker, LaRene Ashby and Irene Earl, 13 years. Lorna Birk, 12 years; Thelma Marrott; 11 years; Edith Selig, Thelma Overly, Anna Boley, Roberta Binnall, 10 years; Melissa Robinson, Maxine Greenwood, nine years. |
