Other activities included a free i Mt screening test on Tuesday, a li Ze glucose test Wednesday and a '.roning with Stress" workshop this evening at 7 p.m. in the hospital conference room. Vt The public is invited to the kl nrkshop. There is no admission charge. Mark J. Howard, hospital administrator, ad-ministrator, said the fitness court is part of the hospital's preventive medicine program. He said it is designed for warm up and cool down exercises and can be used by the entire family. The versatile course is designed to augment walking, jogging, cycling or swimming and to provide a flexible and powerful total conditioning routine, he said. He urged the public to use the court, "Our desire is to help keep people healthy and happy and living a longer, usefull life," he said. He noted a joggingrunning course, a mile in length, is being developed around the hospital grounds. Mr. Howard, Mayor Malcolm H. Beck and Mrs. Phyllis Thomson participated in cutting the line to officially open the course. Immediately after the dedication, runners took part in a one-mile relay race around the hospital driveway areas. The winning team included Priscilla Rushton, Barbara Ferguson and Dr. Carl T. Bell of the American Fork Hospital and Doug Wood of Mountain View Hospital in Payson. " V yj his j . , . A fashion show featuring uniforms through the ages from the beginning of nursing in Florence . Nightingale's' time was held in the hospital cafeteria during the employee em-ployee barbecue. Included were the different types of uniforms worn during the development of the profession to its present time -- and even a proposed uniform for the future. "Hot Lips Hooligan" (or it could have been Clinger) displayed the MASH uniform of the Korean War. Also announced during the barbecue bar-becue were the winners of the baby photo contest. Hospital spokesman said there were over 350 entries in the competition. Judged to have the biggest eyes was Stephanie Evans, daughter of Steven and Beate Evans; the brightest smile, Chanile Walters, . daughter of Kyle and Denice Walters; and over all photogenic, Jake Francom, son of Kurtley and Kathy Francom, all of American Fork.
