New sidewalks installed at city librarj Library patrons will be happy to know that sidewalks have been installed from the north side of the building to the front door, doing away with the need to tramp across muddy lawns to get to the library. Drucilla Smith, Pleasant Grove City Librarian, said that the sidewalks had been needed for a long time. Patrons hesitated to park on the north side of the library because of having to walk through the damp and often muddy grass. Parking on the north side will now be a convenience with the construction of a "Y" shaped sidewalk to the library's main entrance. The huge trees on the lawn keep the sun from drying out the soil and the grass is sparse because of the lack of sun creating the walking problem.
