Show Grove Bishopric :i changes as boundaries altered ,v ':- Recent boundary changes in the pleasant Grove Stake resulted in ) changes in the Grove Ward bishopric. Ellis V. Allred remained as bishop, but he has new counselors and clerks. Lynn Zufelt is first counselor, and Jay Griffiths is second counselor. Benny Adams is ward clerk, Mike Harper is executive secretary, Max Harper is financial clerk, Karl Blunck is assistant to the executive secretary, Lloyd Atkinson is welfare clerk and I Morell Olsen is membership clerk. prior to being called as bishop, Bishop Allred had been executive secretary to the Pleasant Grove East Stake presidency and ward clerk in the Grove Ward. He is married to the former Carolyn Duncan and they are the parents of five children, thre of whom are married and two who live at home. They were foster parents to a , Lamanite child for five years. They have six grandchildren. Bishop Allred is president of Contractors HeatingCooling Supply in Orem. It is a wholesale refrigeration, heating and air conditioning business with a recently opened store in Salt Lake City. . . He likes to golf, fish, camp and attend athletic events in which his children are participating. As a ) matter of interest, the Allreds have lived in the same house and ward for 17 years but they have been in three different stakes, Timpanogos, Pleasant Grove East and Pleasant Grove. Lynn was born and raised in Colorado but has lived in Pleasant Grove for the past 21 years. He is married to the former Preal Monk of Spanish Fork and they have four l children and ten grandchildren. Presently they have a foster Lamanite daughter, Beulah . Tawyesava, living with them. Lynn works as an auto mechanic for Pleasant Grove City. He enjoys his family, hunting, fishing and camping when time permits. He has served in three different Sunday School Presidencies, as a . counselor and president of the Elders Quorum, counselor in the High Priest group and has served a : stake mission. Jay currently works at the Utah State Training School as a team leader. He and his wife, the former Nicole Harris, have seven children who keep them busy. .. .. ,., One activity .they, do as,a family is . an early morning paper route. Jay ; and one of the three older children ; get up at 4 a.m. each day and deliver papers. He enjoys gardening, sports and ; ; jogging. Benny works at Hill Air Force ! Base and is a fruit farmer. He j enjoys motorcycling with his J family. , J He is married to the former jj Karen Long and they are the J parents of six children. He has served as a Sunday School teacher ft and president and Deacons Quorum advisor. ,j Mike enjoys all outdoor sports. He f has served an LDS mission in San v Diego, Calif. He has served as . j! assistant executive secretary, ; Sunday School teacher and f assistant Priest advisor. k He is married to the former t Brenda Joy Shurtz. They have one J daughter, he is a postal clerk. Max has served continuously as ; financial clerk under six different J bishops, which may be some kind of I ; a record. He is married to the J former Dora Whitley and they have five children. 5 Max is a steelworker. 5 Morrell also works for the steel J company. He is married to the 1 former Darlene Bezzant and they j have two children. 3 Karl is a nurseryman for American Fork Nursery. He enjoys I hunting and fishing and being with ,3 his family. He has a great love for 'j animals and also enjoys working in j his greenhouse. j He and his wife, Karen j Brinkerhoff, have three children. ; He has served as second counselor in the bishopric of the Fifth Ward, I teacher in the Sunday School, ward j clerk and financial clerk. I Lloyd is employed at Tooele 15 Army Depot as an electrical technician. He is married to Coleen If Fenton and they have three children. J He has served as secretary of the j Aaronic Priesthood, in the M.I.A., J in the Elders Quorum presidency and as the ward athletic director.
