The City Council is considering con-sidering the formation of a special improvement district under the provisions of the Utah Municipal Improvement District Act, Section 10-16-1 et. seq., Utah Code Annotated, An-notated, 1953, as amended. amen-ded. The proposed improvements im-provements consist of a concrete water tank with a capacity of one million gallons and related pipelines and pumps. Sixty -nine percent (69) of the construction ' cost of the tank is to be paid by the district, and sixty nine percent (69) of the benefits allocated to the property in the district. The balance of the funds to come from other revenue sources because the benefits of the larger tank are allocated City-wide City-wide rather than identifiable iden-tifiable to Masonic Hill. The tank will be located on the top of Masonic Hill, and be interconnected with the existing City water system through pipelines and pump stations. The . estimated total costs are six hundred forty-nine thousand, two hundred and one dollars ($649,201), plus interest. The district would pay a total of four hundred forty-seven forty-seven thousand nine hundred hun-dred forty-eight dollars ($447,948) from assessments on property within the district and the City would pay two hundred hun-dred one thousand two hundred and fifty-two dollars and sixty nine cents cen-ts ($201,252.69) from other revenues. . No general City levy will be created by the creation of the district, as the assessment is only against again-st the property included within the district. The public may comment on the proposal at a hearing before the City Council on August 11, 1983 at 5 p.m. in the Marsac Building. Property owners objecting to the formation of the district should appear at the hearing or mail objections objec-tions to the City Recorder, Box 1480, Park City 84060 before Aug 11.
