"The delay has been caused by the fact that we are looking for a strong leader," said Avise. "We have a very talented staff and we need someone to measure up." In the meantime, High School Principal Jack Do-zier, Do-zier, who has been acting superintendent since June 22, said, "I'll hold the fort down until they find someone." some-one." Dozier added that, although al-though he will be required to resume his duties at the high school by Aug. 18, for the short term he could handle both positions. "I have addressed the problem in my own mind and have prepared for that eventuality," he said. The screening committee which was comprised of Park City school administrators, administra-tors, faculty members, board members and members mem-bers of the community at large will not be involved in reviewing the second round of applications, Avise said.
