Keeping Park City on its feet at the Cowboy Here's what's happening in the Park City music world this weekend: Cowboy The Cowboy's got an extra-hot extra-hot band coming in from the south this weekend. Roadhouse, a five-member group from Las Vegas, will be keeping the crowd on its feet with hard-driving Southern Rock. They've played with such bands as New Riders of the Purple Sage, Elvin Bishop, and Mountain, and have recently released their first album. Their repertoire includes 'LZ Top, Rolling Stones, Lynard Skynard, Eric Clapton and the Beatles, not to mention a string of upbeat originals. They've been well received in the Vegas area, and J sound like the kind of band that Park City would get a kick out of. Be sure to catch their act, Wednesday through Sunday. Black Pearl Dean and the Romancers are keeping the Black Pearl packed with their excellent vocals and lively stage show. They'll be back again this Friday and Saturday, playing great dance music for a three dollar cover charge. Down Under The Down Under will feature Kat again this weekend, playing guitar and singing folk and countrywestern coun-trywestern melodies. Sneakers Ric Weber is the Sneakers Club's dinner guest this weekend, performing a variety of guitar tunes to suit everyone's taste. Grub Steak Bob Snow will be appearing ap-pearing solo at the Grub Steak, mixing vocals and guitar. He'll be performing everything from contemporary contem-porary to rock and country. Adolph's Adolph's house musician, Bob Weisenfeld, will be strumming classical guitar tunes Friday and Saturdaj nights. Park City Village The Shakespeare Greer Show will be at the Villagt this weekend, featuring Renaissance music and danc ing. They'll be followed b; Horst Fiedel, a Bavariai band. |
