Ski Corp Forgives Art Center Mortgage The Park City Ski Corporation has forgiven the remainder of the Kimball Art Center's mortgage, according to Ski Corporation President Phil Jones. The balance remaining on the Center's mortgage was $70,486. By forgiving the mortgage, the Park City Ski Corporation holds the distinction of making the largest single donation to the Center. "We are extremely grateful to Park City Ski Corporation for their most generous contribution," Kimball Art Center Director Corke Pepper noted. "The Ski Corporation has always been one of our strongest supporters, and this donation reflects their faith in the Art Center's purpose and programs," she added. Kimball Art Center still owes approximately $35,000 on a mortgage held by the Eley family. Plans are currently underway to hold a fund raising event celebrating the Park City Ski Corporation's donation. This event will also be an attempt to raise enough money to pay off the remaining mortgage. , |
