Show Wacky Wyo. Race Needs Racers It's Pole Pedal Paddle time again-that unique and challenging chal-lenging four-event relay race held annually in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The ninth running of the Pole Pedal Paddle will be held April 9th starting with a 4.5 mile, 4,139 vertical feet super giant slalom from the top of the aerial tram at the Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Next follows a 10 km nordic skiing leg on a prepared track at Teton Village. The third leg is a 19.8 mile bicycle race from Teton Village to South Park, with the finale a 9 mile boating leg on the Snake River to the finish at Astoria Hot Springs. The Pole Pedal Paddle is also a communitywide celebration celebra-tion of spring with pre-race and post-race parties, and special discounts on airfare, motels, food, and drink in the Jackson Hole area. There are a variety of classes for everyone, including includ-ing racing, recreation, fun, family, veterans, couples, and media. Entrants may compete on teams (men's, women's, or mixed) or as individuals.
