Show Class Schedule classes offered in park citw shaping up Are you interested in shaping up for the approaching summer? If so, then have some fun doing it with Mary Jane Bird Jazz and tap classes, sponsored by the Recreation Dept. All classes are beginning this week and are conveniently located on Main Street in the Memorial Building. If interested please contact Nan McPolin 649-9417 or leave name and phone number with Robyn at Park City Board of Education Office 649-9671. water color class Park City artisi Diane Balaban will introduce transparent watercolor techniques to beginning, intermediate and advanced students at the Kimball Art Center. These six-week courses will begin Tuesday, April 12 for beginners and Wednesday, April 13 for intermediate and advanced students. Both classes will be taught from 6 to 8 p.m. Diane Balaban has received her training in California, Utah and New York. She is currently a member of the Utah Watercolor Society and Park City Artists Association. Tuition for each class is $45 for Kimball Art Center members and $47 for non-members. For information call the Art Center at 649-8882. stained glass Two stained glass course will be taught by Park City's Dale Nelson at the Kimball Art Center in March. Beginning stained glass starts Tuesday, March 15 from 7 to 10 p.m. Etching and chipping, an advanced class, begins Thursday, March 17 from 7 to 10 p.m. Registration is open to anyone over the age of nine. Tuition for each class is $45 for Kimball Art Center members and $50 for non-members. These classes will be taught for seven weeks. For information call the Art Center at 649-8882. last cpr class The Rec. Department's last CPR class of the season will be held Wednesday, March 23 from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Memorial Bldg. The $5 fee includes a cardio-puliminary resuscitation certificate. Advance registration is necessary. Call 649-9461 for details. socer coaching, refereeing A soccer clinic focusing on coaching and refereeing will take place Thursday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Bldg. The clinic is to train volunteers to assist the rec. department with its youth soccer program that involves more than 200 participants.
