Show Resort is ready to go Officials at the Park City Ski Area are still hoping to break the record for the earliest opening day. But it will have to snow in a hurry. "We're ready to roll," Communications Director Ed Bowers said Wednesday morning. "All we're doing is holding off for another foot or foot and a half." Bowers said the resort could be in operation within 36 hours of the decision to go. The earliest opening on record is Nov. 12. The weatherman is calling for scattered showers over the next several days. Bowers said that, with or without additional snow, the resort is still planning to be in operation by Nov. 16, the official opening day. "I think there's going to be enough to open on the 16th on a limited basis," he said. |
