Show Virginia Whitney Benefit June 12 special mamorial to Mrs. Shannon Kramer Steven, daughter of Bonneville Golf Course Professional Richard Kramer, who died of Cancer on June 1st, 1982. The Park City Ladies Golf Association will be working all day, Saturday June 12th at the Park City Golf Course. Utah golfers can help fight cancer with just a swing of their golf club. The event is the annual Virginia Whitney Golf Contest Con-test to be held Saturday, June 12 or the "Ladies' Day" prior to that on over 70 courses throughout the state. Golfers who donate at least one dollar before teeing off on a designated par-three hole are eligible. Any tee shot that lands inside a ten-foot chalked circle around the hole wins three new balls for every dollar donated. The grand prize for a hole-in-one is $300.00 credit towards the purchase of a set . of irons. the past two years, funds' from the Virginia Whitney Golf Contest have supported a special colorectal screening program using guaiac hemo-ccult hemo-ccult slides. The Virginia Whitney Cancer Can-cer Detection Project was started in 1969 as a memorial to a courageous Utah woman who fought a losing battle - against cancer. Barbara (Mrs. F.
