Show Blanding Exhibit Opens According to John Knud-son, Knud-son, Edge of the Cedars State Historical Monument, in cooperation with the Utah Arts Council, is pleased to present an exhibition of drawings entitled, "Arizona and Utah: As seen by Albert Tissandier in May and June 1885". This collection depicts Utah and Arizona in the latter part of the nineteenth century. Tissandier was one of the few European artists to travel through the American West during the nineteenth century. His drawings fall into two categories: highly detailed finished works and field sketches. The exhibit will be displayed dis-played at Edge of the Cedars from June 7 through June 31 . Edge of the Cedars State Historical Monument is located lo-cated at 660 West 400 North, Blanding, Utah, and is open seven days a week 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. For further information r , contact curator Sloant Emery |
